Abstract: This study was designed to evaluate the effects of inclusion different levels of DTP pomace in laying hens diets on performance and serum and egg yolk cholesterol contents. One hundred eighty two Hy-Line strain laying hens, 65-73 weeks of age, were randomly assigned to 4 dietary treatments. The levels of DTP Inclusion were 0, 5, 7.5 and 10% and fed to laying hens for 8 week. Egg production, egg weight, egg mass and eggshell weight were significantly affected by inclusion of DTP in treatments. Whereas serum and egg yolk cholesterol content were not significantly affected (p< 0.05). It was concluded that DTP can be used as an alternative feedstuff in laying hens diets, at inclusion levels up to 10% without negative effects on performance and egg quality.
